K-12 Reading & ELA

The K-12 Reading & ELA site serves as a resource for providing literacy support to teachers, students, and parents across the district. Paraphrasing Gholdy Muhammad, literacy is the foundation of all learning. When people learn to read, write, and speak, they can accumulate knowledge in other areas and use these skills as tools to further shape, define, and navigate their lives. Developing these skills allows students to advocate for themselves and navigate the multifaceted world in which we live. Allow these Literacy links below to serve you as we encourage our students to read more and be more informed citizens.
See below for resources available for parents, students, and educators in our strive toward literacy for all.
