Step 1: Create an Account

Step 1: Create an Account

If you do not need instructions and are ready to apply. 

Click the Button to Join the Class of ‘39

Enroll in LCS - Create a FOCUS Acct

Note: If you have already created a FOCUS Account due to Pre-K enrollment, skip to the next step.

Now that you have gathered all of the documents you need, it is time to create an account in FOCUS to begin the kindergarten application. Remember: you will need to complete ALL pages of the applications to complete your enrollment. Please do not skip sections or forget to upload the required documentation.

**If you have already enrolled your student in a LCS Pre-K program, do not create a new account. Proceed to the next step.

First: Create your Parent Portal Account on our FOCUS website

This is the  part where some of our parents may get frustrated, but trust us if you read these instructions before you click to start the process it will be easier :) In a moment, you are going to click a link that will direct you to the FOCUS registration page. Remember, FOCUS, or the Parent Portal, is the website that you will learn to love. It will provide information about your child’s grades and so much more. But for now, it is the front door to your application process. Once you head over there, you will simply follow the instructions for each section starting with filling out your name, email address, and creating a password. Second: Verify Email received

Verify your newly created account by clicking a link in an email you will receive. This will activate your new account and take you back to the Parent Portal Registration page. Once you've completed your email verification and returned to the portal, it’s time to apply.

Third:  Access Online Application

Now it is time to start the application process. Click on the link and begin. Follow the instructions and complete ALL of the pages. Please do not skip sections or forget to upload the required documentation.

Finally: Complete Application

Once you open the online registration form, ensure that you have uploaded any required documentation where appropriate and have COMPLETELY filled out the online registration before clicking the submit button or prior to attempting to enroll any additional children to prevent errors. Please make sure you read any on-screen instructions very carefully to prevent potential enrollment errors.
