Parents are encouraged to contact their local district home education office or relevant state or local parent organizations to obtain the names of qualified evaluators. It is imperative that all evaluators for home education students possess current certification in academic subjects at either the elementary or secondary level within the state of Florida.

Should additional assistance be required, a list of Florida-certified educators is available. Parents are advised to reach out to the evaluator at their earliest convenience to gather information regarding appointment scheduling, fees, and any necessary documentation.

**Please note these teachers are not affiliated with Leon County Schools and the LCS Home Education Compliance Office. You can use their services at your discretion.**

If you are a registered homeschool student, your parent/guardian is responsible for reporting your unofficial transcripts to your school district’s Home Education Compliance Office. Please note that you do not have to request an Official Transcript to receive your grades from FLVS. When you complete a course, your unofficial transcripts will be provided to the parent/guardian associated with your FLVS account. Your parent/guardian can then log in to their account and print this report for your school district.

There are 2 different ways to request your FLVS grades:

• The first is by printing an Unofficial Transcript, which can be done via the Cumulative Academic Report page under the Student Records tab once you login into your FLVS account.
• The second is by submitting a request for an Official Transcript.
