“Working as a Teacher in Leon County Schools has provided me with incredible opportunities throughout my 26-year career as an educator. As a FSU College of Education graduate starting right here in Tallahassee, all of these experiences laid the foundation and paved the way for me to now serve as the district's Website Architect designing the very “ Digital Experience” where you are now reading this now.
Education has the power to transform lives. Leon County Schools definetly transformed mine.
Being part of a team that values collaboration and continued professional growth to become the best that I can be has greatly enriched my experience as an educator. It has enabled me to make a meaningful impact on our students futures, support my colleagues’ career advancement, and greatly enhanced my own professional journey while ensuring we meet the needs of both our parents and students every day. Watching students transform into confident young adults as they face new challenges, blaze their own paths in the world, and succeed because you were able to be an important part of their educational journey to get there has been absolutely amazing.
