Practical Nursing
The Practical Nursing program is the stepping stone course that develops well-rounded future nurses for a variety of healthcare settings. Students gain the knowledge, skills, and mindset necessary to provide direct nursing care to patients in hospitals, nursing homes, clinics, home health care, and community-based settings.

Instruction covers basic health care for the patient and safety procedures, communications, computer literacy, legal and ethical responsibilities, infection control, geriatric nursing, patient rehabilitative activities, nutrition, and body structure and function. Includes simulation, laboratory, and clinical settings.
